Two Way Street Coffee House is Chicagoland’s most beloved folk and acoustic music venue, presenting weekly concerts and community events for over 50 years! The show starts at 8pm (CDT) and the doors open at 7:30pm. (Suggested donation $10). We will also host this concert virtually. On Friday, September 15, 2023 Two Way Street Coffee House Friday Night Concert Series presents Trillium.
Trillium is an acoustic music quartet, located in the far west suburbs, outside Chicago. Their eclectic repertoire ranges in style from Celtic to folk to ragtime to swing to bluegrass and appeals to all ages and most musical tastes! Although they’ve only been playing together for 3 ½ years, they’ve performed and been rebooked at many community festivals, recreation department events, coffeehouses, libraries, pubs, house concerts, nightclubs, fundraising events, corporate and private parties, weddings and receptions, in Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin. Trillium’s music has been featured many times on The WFMT Midnight Special & WDCB Folk Festival in the Chicago area, Wisconsin Public Radio’s Simply Folk Program, KBCS folk programs, CelticNet and Highlander Radio, as well as broadcasts and internet streaming of these and associated stations throughout the U.S.
