Two Way Street Coffee House is Chicagoland’s most beloved folk and acoustic music venue, presenting weekly concerts and community events for over 50 years! The show starts at 8pm (CST) and the doors open at 7:30pm. (Suggested donation $10). We will also host this concert virtually. On Friday, February 17, 2023 Two Way Street Coffee House Friday Night Concert Series presents Lonesome Eagle.
We are excited to welcome back local favorite Lonesome Eagle comprised of Gregg Morton, Cathy Jones and Ron Leaneagh. The trio are two fun-loving guys and one nice lady who love folk music and have done folk music and other music all our lives. They are all active members of Plank Road Folk Music Society in Downers Grove, IL where we all met. Lonesome Eagle has performed many times, separately and together, at the Two Way Street Coffee House and other venues in the Chicago area. They share with our audiences a variety of traditional and contemporary folk music, featuring a lot of three-part vocal harmony and all acoustic instruments – guitar, banjo, mandolin and fiddle.
